The Bluebonnet Opry and Chamber Networking: Brenham's Business and Music Communities Thrive
Two things that make Brenham special are the way it supports local music and the way its business community comes together. This summer and fall, both are on full display. From the monthly Bluebonnet Opry shows to a packed calendar of Chamber networking events, there are plenty of ways to connect with what makes this community great. Brought to you by De Wayne at Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Hometown.
The Bluebonnet Opry: A Brenham Tradition
On the third Thursday of every month, the Bluebonnet Opry brings live country and bluegrass music to Brenham. It is a down-home, family-friendly music night that has become a beloved fixture on the local calendar. Each month features different performers, from local talent to regional touring acts, all playing in an intimate setting where you can actually hear the strings and harmonies.
The August 20 show features Brian Black and Craig Howell, a duo known for their classic country sound and tight harmonies. The September 17 show brings another lineup of talented musicians. Whether you are a lifelong country fan or just looking for a relaxed evening out, the Bluebonnet Opry is worth putting on your calendar. Check the Chamber events calendar for venue details and ticket information.
