The oldest county fair in Texas returns with carnival rides, rodeo events, live music, livestock shows, and family fun. This year's theme is "Kickin It Old School." Entertainment lineup includes Black Cat Choir, Los Palominos, Midland, and more. Don't miss the Car Show on September 12.

Kids Gone Fishin at the Blue Bell Aquatic Center
Hundreds of pounds of catfish are dumped into the outdoor leisure pool at the Blue Bell Aquatic Center. Anglers of all ages can attempt to catch a fish using their own pole or ones provided on-site. Children ages 2-17 can compete to catch the largest catfish, with plaques awarded to the top catchers. The event promotes fishing, the outdoors, and family time.

National Night Out — "Party Like It's 1999"
National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make neighborhoods safer. Residents can participate by hosting their own neighborhood block party or joining the citywide downtown block party at the Commerce Street parking lot. First responders across Brenham and Washington County invite neighbors to connect and get to know one another.
